AttendOS Content Guidelines

AttendOS helps individuals and organizations create events, collect registrations, issue tickets or QR passes, manage attendees and operate check-in.

We want AttendOS to remain safe, trustworthy and respectful of everyone’s rights. These Guidelines apply to all content created, uploaded, sent, imported, displayed or shared through AttendOS, including event names, descriptions, images, videos, documents, forms, emails, messages, links and attendee information.

Organizers are responsible for the events they create and for all content, information, images, documents and communications they publish or send through AttendOS.

You may publish only content that you have the right to use and disclose. You are responsible for ensuring that your event, promotion, information collection, registration process and onsite activities comply with applicable law.

AttendOS does not organize, sponsor, endorse or assume responsibility for an event merely because it uses the platform, unless AttendOS expressly identifies itself in writing as an organizer or co-organizer.

You may not use AttendOS to create, promote, operate or support:

• unlawful activity;
• fraud or intentional deception;
• transactions involving prohibited goods or services;
• unauthorized access, disruption or account compromise;
• money laundering, sanctions evasion or concealment of unlawful funds;
• impersonation of a person, organization, public authority or brand;
• conduct encouraging others to violate the law.

The following are prohibited:

• depictions or promotion of explicit sexual activity;
• pornographic content;
• sexually explicit nudity;
• sexual services or prostitution facilitation;
• non-consensual intimate imagery;
• voyeuristic or unlawfully obtained intimate material;
• coercion, exploitation or trafficking for sexual purposes.

Any content involving or appearing to involve the sexual exploitation of a minor is strictly prohibited and may be handled under applicable safety and legal procedures.

AttendOS may use automated systems, human review or both to detect and restrict violating imagery. Automated systems may make mistakes, and eligible decisions may be reviewed through the AttendOS appeal process.

You may not:

• exploit, groom or endanger a child;
• solicit sexual content or inappropriate private information from a child;
• promote child abuse;
• disclose information that unreasonably exposes a child’s location or safety;
• operate activities involving minors in violation of applicable consent, supervision or child-safety requirements.

Organizers of events intended for or attended by minors are responsible for implementing appropriate parental or guardian consent and safeguards.

You may not publish content that:

• communicates a credible violent threat;
• promotes or instructs serious violent conduct;
• glorifies terrorism or violent extremist organizations;
• promotes suicide, self-harm or dangerous challenges;
• depicts extreme gore without a legitimate educational, journalistic, medical or historical purpose.

Educational, preventive, journalistic, research or support content may be permitted when responsibly presented and not designed to encourage harm.

You may not:

• incite violence or hatred based on legally protected characteristics;
• dehumanize or call for the exclusion of a group;
• threaten, stalk, bully or deliberately harass others;
• expose personal information to threaten or cause harm;
• use AttendOS to organize unlawful discrimination.

Academic, religious, political, historical or social discussion of sensitive subjects is not automatically prohibited. AttendOS considers context, purpose and the actual risk of harm.

You may not:

• misrepresent an event, speaker, venue or sponsor;
• obtain money or information through false promises;
• create a nonexistent event to collect user data;
• use fabricated reviews, ratings, credentials or statistics;
• misleadingly conceal mandatory fees;
• impersonate a charity or public authority;
• send fraudulent bulk emails or messages.

Organizers must accurately describe material information including time, place, organizer, eligibility, cost and any applicable refund policy.

Publish only images, music, video, text, logos, trademarks and materials that you own or are authorized to use.

You may not:

• unlawfully copy another person’s work;
• use a trademark in a manner that creates confusion about sponsorship or affiliation;
• remove copyright-management information;
• publish unlawfully obtained or leaked materials.

AttendOS may remove or restrict content in response to a valid infringement notice and may address repeat infringers as required by applicable law and policy.

You may not collect, use or share personal information beyond a lawful purpose disclosed to attendees.

You may not publicly expose:

• passwords;
• authentication codes;
• complete financial credentials;
• private medical records;
• unredacted identity documents;
• private addresses or precise location data intended to cause harm;
• another person’s private information without appropriate authority.

Organizers must provide required notices and establish an appropriate lawful basis when collecting attendee data.

You may not:

• send unsolicited communications at scale;
• buy, rent or use unlawfully obtained contact lists;
• evade unsubscribe requests;
• use bots to create fake registrations, traffic or engagement;
• bypass usage or security limits;
• distribute malware, spyware or dangerous links;
• scrape AttendOS through unauthorized automated means.

AttendOS does not automatically prohibit content merely because it concerns:

• religion;
• politics;
• health;
• sexual education;
• medicine;
• breastfeeding;
• classical art;
• history;
• violence prevention;
• exploitation prevention;
• sensitive social issues.

Content may be permitted when it has a legitimate purpose, is not exploitative, does not incite harm and is presented appropriately for its audience.

AttendOS may:

• review content using automated tools;
• request additional organizer information;
• limit visibility;
• hold artwork for review;
• disable a feature;
• suspend or terminate an account;
• remove an event or content;
• preserve evidence where legally required;
• cooperate with authorities when subject to a lawful obligation.

Enforcement considers severity, context, risk of harm, violation history and applicable law.

You may report an event or content that you believe violates these Guidelines.

Where eligible, organizers may request review of a decision. A review request does not guarantee reinstatement.

Child-safety matters, legal obligations and urgent risks may be handled through restricted procedures.

AttendOS may update these Guidelines to reflect product, legal or safety developments.

The effective date and last-updated date appear at the top of this document. AttendOS will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
